Years ago a logo or mark was simply a design element you placed on your business card and letterhead. They were simple and effective.
Fast-forward till present day and logos have become something much, much more. Not only are they still placed on business cards, but also used as intros to videos, Facebook headers and social media icons. (To name just a few)
Often times when we meet with clients that need a logo, or just a revamped version of an existing one they are confused when we mention the price. “I can get one for 99 bucks from some online shop.” I simply say you get what you pay for. Is it web friendly? Is it a vector file? Do you get complete rights for it?
When eleven nine designs a logo we think dynamically. It’s funny because we start with a pencil and paper and actually map out what each concept could do. Our designers talk with our video guys who talk with our social media gurus to ensure no matter what platform your company’s logo is used on it stays consistent. – I wonder if those $99 dollar guys do that too?
So to wrap this post up, a logo can tell a story. We take the steps to make sure everyone on everything can read it!
